Set up 3 person team responsible for technical implementation of a statistical driven home appraisal algorithm for the US real estate market. The algorithm used data on more than 100 million homes to assess the current value of homes throughout the US. Built a custom SGD implementation to optimize algorithm parameters.
Algorithm was able to consistently predict sale value within 4% of true value within 3-month window forward window.
